For the second year, Memphis Tigers Men’s Basketball Coach Josh Pastner will support Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in the 2013 Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge.

The Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge pits 48 National Association of Basketball Coaches from the nation’s top NCAA Division I men’s basketball programs in a fan-vote challenge. The winning coach’s designated charity receives $100,000 from Infiniti. This is the third year for the contest.

Fan participation will determine the ultimate winner over an eight-week period, which began Jan. 14, by registering and voting on a custom microsite on www.ESPN.com/Infiniti. For the first six weeks, four brackets of 12 coaches will be paired against each other, with the winners from each group advancing to the second round in week seven and the final round in week eight. Fans can vote for one coach per region per day. The winning coach will be announced March 11, 2013.

“We are excited to once again have the support of Coach Pastner and the Memphis Tigers men’s basketball team. Coach Pastner is a great asset to our city, and we’re honored to be his charity of choice in this challenge. We encourage the public to log on and vote for Coach Pastner,” said Kavanaugh Casey, executive director of the Le Bonheur Foundation.
