Le Bonheur Children’s Heart Institute is the only pediatric cardiovascular program in the Mid-South using the combined skills of pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and a specially trained staff of experts.

Le Bonheur Children’s Heart Institute is the only pediatric cardiovascular program in the Mid-South using the combined skills of pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and a specially trained staff of experts. Cardiovascular services at Le Bonheur include evaluation and treatment for all forms of congenital and acquired heart disease, hypertension, cardiac rhythm disorders and other related pediatric cardiology diagnoses. Specialties within the division include interventional cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology and cardiac intensive care.

The institute is actively involved in Gift of Life medical work, and one of its fellows recently earned the Southern Society for Pediatric Research Young Investigator Award.
