Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being will receive $500,000 in federal money to fight HIV/AIDS, U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-TN, announced Aug. 9.

Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being will receive $500,000 in federal money to fight HIV/AIDS, U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-TN. Called the Ryan White Title IV Women, Infants, Children, Youth and Affected Family Members AIDS Healthcare project, the grant is awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“We’re proud to be able to deliver this care in our community and help patients living with HIV and AIDS,” said Michael Massey, director of Community Programs with Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being.

The funds will focus on HIV/AIDS testing and caring for those who test positive.
