 Dr. K.J.S. “Sunny” Anand, MBBS, D.Phil
Director of Critical Care
Director of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, director of Critical Care for Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Endowed Chair of Critical Care. His joint position enables him to isolate specific opportunities in the field of pediatric critical care and address them simultaneously across the three facilities. Anand received his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, India, and completed his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Oxford’s Jesus College in Oxford, England; awarded the 2009 Nils Rosén von Rosenstein Award from the Swedish Society of Medicine.

 Christopher Knott-Craig, M.D.

James A. O’Donnell, II, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. James O’Donnell is director of Le Bonheur’s Disaster Response and Emergency Preparedness Team. He leads all emergency preparedness efforts for the hospital. Dr. O’Donnell is a pediatric emergency physician and has also served as the Medical Director of Emergency Services at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. He is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine.
Dr. O’Donnell is an expert in disaster planning and preparedness. He is a member of the Tennessee Committee on Pediatric Emergency Care where he has served as Chairman and Co-chairman of the disaster planning sub-committee. He has also served on the Disaster Preparedness & Response Committee of the American College of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. O’Donnell is the Tennessee American Academy of Pediatrics Disaster Liaison. He also received a special achievement award from Tennessee chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics for distinguished service and dedication to state disaster preparedness for children. Dr. O’Donnell has made numerous presentations and has testified at the Tennessee legislature about the importance of disaster preparedness. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry Cum Laude from Millsaps College and his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Mississippi.
