World-renowned music therapist Deforia Lane, Ph.D. helped the child life team at Le Bonheur hit all the right notes with patients. Lane, a pioneer in the field of music therapy, will visited Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center from Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Music therapy is the use of music to aide in the health and emotional care of children. It’s a tool used by Le Bonheur’s Child Life team to help patients understand and cope with being at the hospital.
