Le Bonheur Zoo Boo

Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center is partnering with the Memphis Zoo to present the Le Bonheur Zoo Boo. Memphis Zoo's annual "spook-tacular" family event, is celebrating its 20th year. Visitors can explore the Herpetarium, Once Upon a Farm and Animals of the Night to see some of the planet's creepiest animals.

Activities for little visitors include:

  • Trick-or-Treat Stations with more than half a million pieces of candy to give away
  • The Not-So-Haunted Tour of Primate Canyon
  • Several Costume Contests
  • Magic Shows
  • Dancing at Dracula's Disco
  • A Haunted Hayride around the Zoo
  • Painted Pumpkin Patch
  • Creepy Creatures
  • Slithering Snake Show

Costume Drive Details

As part of our partnership, the Zoo is having a costume drive through October 29. When a visitor donates a new, unopened Halloween costume to the Memphis Zoo, they’ll get one free general admission ticket to the Zoo. The costumes will be given to the children of Le Bonheur for the hospital’s own Halloween event held on October 31. Costumes can be donated to the Zoo during Zoo Boo or normal operating hours until October 29.
