This fall students at 21 Mid-South schools helped raise more than $18,000 for Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center through the Kids Caring for Kids program and WREG Channel 3's Go Jim Go fundraiser. Le Bonheur's Kids Caring for Kids program helps students understand the importance of meaningful community service. This year, Kids Caring for Kids teamed up with WREG meteorologist Jim Jaggers. During Jim's 333 mile bicycle ride across the Mid-South, he stopped and visited with many of the students who raised funds for the hospital. The generous gifts of these students help continue Le Bonheur's tradition of providing exceptional healthcare to children from across the region and country. They also support Le Bonheur's campaign to build a new 12-story hospital scheduled to open in 2010.
