Dancesmiths’ has supported Le Bonheur’s Cardiac Kids Camp for five years. So far, the events have raised more than $55,000 to help provide children with cardiac-related diagnoses a safe and enjoyable summer camp experience. Dancesmiths’ donates all expenses for the event and donates 100 percent of the funds donated through the charity ball.

Cardiac Kids Camp is designed to provide education about heart function, heart-healthy lifestyles, heart-smart nutrition, and exercise.  Outdoor activities including swimming, canoeing, volleyball, ropes courses and craft activities are all part of the approach to teaching children the importance of heart health through physical and mental activities. The camp provides a safe and fun environment staffed by qualified medical personnel from Le Bonheur who are able to deal with any special needs a child may have or encounter during their stay at Cardiac Kids Camp. The camp is offered at no charge to campers.
