Three Volunteers Recognized

Three hospital volunteers were recently recognized by Volunteer Memphis for their outstanding volunteer service.

Feenalie Patel received the Youth Volunteer of the Year Award. The White Station High School junior had participated twice in Le Bonheur’s summer teen volunteer program and is part of the Explorers program as well. Through two separate donation drives at her school she collected more than 2,500 crayons and 400 books for patients at the hospital.

WREG Channel 3 meteorologist Jim Jaggers received the second place award for Media of the Year. Through the Go Jim Go partnership, Jim has helped Le Bonheur raise more than $80,000. Jim has also touched the lives of the patients he meets at the hospital and on the road as he rides to support the hospital.

Vicki Rodemeyer was a nominee in the category of Adult Volunteer of the Year for her work tutoring dialysis patients.
