Miss America Katie Stam visited patients at Le Bonheur Children's in May. She decorated crowns with patients in a Child Life playroom. She spent a lot of time visiting children in their hospital rooms who were unable to leave their rooms.
Katie also met hospital president Meri Armour and children from Le Bonheur Early Intervention and Development (LEAD). She was gracious, warm and caring to all. Her visit was enjoyed by everyone at Le Bonheur!
As Miss America, Katie serves as a Children's Miracle Network Ambassador. Le Bonheur Children's is the CMN Hospital in the Mid-South.
