To expand their career goals, Associates often pursue educational opportunities. Methodist Healthcare supports these efforts of professional growth. We provide tuition reimbursement to Associates who attend various colleges and universities in the Mid-South.
We also offer continuing education classes through our Organizational Development, Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Education for Nurses.
Continuing Medical Education
Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Continuing Medical Education Program at Methodist Healthcare offers a wide variety of highly regarded conferences designed to enhance the performance of physicians in all disciplines.

Methodist Healthcare Continuing Education for Nurses
Methodist Healthcare's Clinical Education Services offers nurses hundreds of hours in continuing education each year. Classes are designed to meet the needs of both the new nurse and the experienced nurse.
Methodist's Continuing Education Department is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing by the Tennessee Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
UTHSC Continuing Education for Nurses
In keeping with the high standards of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing, our Continuing Education programs are of the highest quality. Accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, The College of Nursing endorses the concept of life-long learning for nurses and other healthcare professionals and actively initiates, develops and presents continuing education opportunities for nursing professionals.

Pharmacy Continuing Education
Approved by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education, Methodist offers about 15 to 20 hours of continuing education credit. Programming consists of monthly continuing education presentations, held at Methodist University Hospital, but televised to Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital and Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.
Many times, the pharmacy partners with Nursing and Medical Education to offer events on specific topics. Methodist sponsored CE events are free to Methodist Associates. For more information, contact Recruitment Services at 901.516.0780.
