Make it a Safe Summer: Safe Kids and Family FunFest

Each year during National Safe Kids Week in May, Safe Kids Mid-South, headquartered at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, conducts highly visible activities in the Mid-South community to focus attention on preventing accidental childhood injuries. The observance happens in the spring because that marks the beginning of "trauma season" when more children are injured in the summer months. We hope that by an increased awareness, that these injuries can be prevented!

In 2008, the theme is "Gear Up For Safety!"  During the week of April 26 - May 4, we will launch a campaign to focus on motor vehicle safety, fire safety, pedestrian safety, wheeled sports safety, water safety and more!

Join Us at the Safe Kids and Families FunFest on April 26, 2008, Click here for more information.
