Children need immunizations (shots) to protect them from dangerous childhood diseases. These diseases have serious complications and can even kill children. Most children should be completely immunized by age two to protect them during the most vulnerable period for contracting disease.

Studies and experience have shown that vaccines are safe even when multiple vaccines are given together. All vaccines are licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and safety tested by the manufacturer.
