Q: What is lead?
A: Lead is a highly toxic metal that can never be broken down that is found in the environment.

Q: How can someone get Lead Poisoning?
A: There are three different ways someone can get Lead Poisoning. 1 is by breathing it into your body, 2 is by swallowing it, and 3 it can go through the skin.

Q: What are the symptoms of Lead Poisoning?
A: At times there are NO symptoms at all, other times the symptoms of the common cold or flu can occur. Such as nausea, head ache, tiredness, and irritability.

Q: When should Children be tested?
A: It is recommended at ages 1 and 2 but should be done fairly regular untill the age of 6.

Q: Can adults get Lead Poisoning?
A: Yes, but the effects are worse on children under the age of 6.
