Family Services at Le Bonheur

Child Life Specialists are an integral part of the our patients' care team.

At Le Bonheur, we know that sometimes it takes more than the best medicine to help a child get well. It takes an environment that cares about the whole child and family. From play therapy to worship services to tutoring, Le Bonheur is focused on getting children well. It is important that children as well as their families feel taken care of at Le Bonheur.


Chaplains
Part of the larger Methodist Healthcare pastoral care team, the Le Bonheur pastoral ministry staff is committed to taking care of body, mind and Spirit, providing pastoral care to patients, family members, visitors, hospital staff and medical staff. 		Child Life
Hospitals can be scary places for children - that is why the Child Life department’s sole purpose is to help children overcome their fears and provide comfort and security, through special programs and services.
Home Health Care
As part of Methodist Healthcare, Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center has access to a complete array of home care services through Methodist Alliance Health Services. 		Medical Records
At any time, you might need to request a copy of your medical record. We want to make this request as easy as possible.
Social Work
Social workers can be reached 24 hours per day to provide support for you and your family during your child's illness. They also help with your child's plans for home care and community resource services after you leave the hospital. 		Summer Camps for Kids
Hospital School Program
The Hospital School Program is an accredited non-public school that provides year-round school services to patients from K-12. The provided services promote a normal environment while in the hospital and help your child remain on track in school.
