We have more than 20 medical services at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.


Allergy and Immunology
At Le Bonheur, board-certified pediatric allergists and immunologists perform comprehensive laboratory testing to diagnose the child’s condition.
Behavioral Pediatrics
Specialists work with children who have any developmental or behavioral disorder. We have several types of therapy and management, as well as community liaison services.
Clinical Psychology
Our Clinical Psychologists work together with many pediatric sub-specialties to ensure the most comprehensive care for children in the Mid-South.
Developmental Pediatrics
Our developmental pediatrics program helps children who have psychological issues.
Endocrinology
The endocrine system regulates moods, development, metabolism and sexual function.
General Pediatrics
Our pediatricians work closely with other pediatric specialists from other areas to look at your child as a whole and are aware of the ways in which different parts of the body and different systems interact.
Genetics
Our physicians care for children with birth defects, inherited conditions, growth failure, metabolic disorders, developmental delay and at-risk situations.
Hematology
Our hematology staff evaluates and treats patients with known or suspected blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, anemia, hemophilia and other coagulation disorders.
Infectious Disease
Le Bonheur provides comprehensive care for children with infectious diseases. The group includes pediatric infectious disease specialists, nurses and a hospital infection control team.
Nephrology
Our pediatric nephrology clinic treats children with all types of kidney problems, kidney stones, high blood pressure and abnormalities in body fluids, salt and/or acid balance.
Neuropsychology
We provide comprehensive evaluations of patients with neurological impairment.
Ophthamology
Pediatric ophthalmologists provide care for common eye disorders of childhood as well as comprehensive intervention for children with cancer, neuro-ophthalmic disorders, inherited and neonatal retinal disorders, anterior segment and glaucomatous diseases.
Psychiatry
Our medical psychiatric unit provides a warm and structured environment designed to address the interaction of all factors affecting mental and physical illness in children and adolescents.
Pulmonology
We provide multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services for infants and children with acute and chronic respiratory problems.
Rheumatology
Our rheumatologists are specially trained in pediatrics and are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and many other musculoskeletal diseases in children.
Radiology
The Medical Imaging Department provides our pediatric patients state of the art diagnostic medical imaging. We strive to meet all patient care needs.
Our Centers of Excellence
The Neuroscience Institute and the Cardiac Institute are dedicated to the treatment and research of pediatric conditions. Children from all over the region and country visit Le Bonheur each year to be treated at these Institutes.
Palliative Care
The Palliative Care Program at Le Bonheur is a family-centered, culturally sensitive approach to the dignified care of infants and children with life-limiting illnesses.
