Our social workers can be reached 24 hours per day to provide support for you and your family during your child's illness. We also help with your child's plans for home care and community resource services after you leave the hospital.

All members of our social work staff are fully qualified social workers.  We provide a full range of services, including:

• Psychological assessments
• Counseling for children, parents and families
• Consultation regarding psychological aspects of care
• Discharge planning
• Bereavement counseling and follow-up
• Assessment, assistance and other services for victims of abuse and neglect
• Parent support groups
• Access to community resources
