Before surgery, there's one thing your child must do - hop to the Bunny Room to pick out a special toy.  One of our longest traditions, your child will join generations of patients who experienced our Bunny Tunnel.

The Bunny Room is the only way to get into the pre-operative holding area and gives your child a positive experience to begin his or her surgical experience. Children pick out a toy, and when they wake up from surgery, it is there with them.

Because surgery for children involves the entire family, both centers provide a home-like environment with lots of activities to distract your child and your fears. Everything we do is designed to make you and your child as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Special features such as the Bunny Room is just one way we seeks to treat the whole child.
