Methodist Healthcare Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Methodist Healthcare, raises and manages charitable funds to support the mission and vision of Methodist Healthcare. The Foundation encourages, solicits, receives and administers gifts, bequests, honorariums and memorials for the advancement of Methodist Healthcare. It is registered in the state of Tennessee as 501c(3) public charity.

The Foundation supports Methodist Healthcare in its continuing mission to provide high quality, cost-effective healthcare in the communities we serve. Generous gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations and other sources help to improve and enhance patient care services, fund new research, support clinical initiatives and provide much needed capital support.

Since 1918, the Mid-South has relied on Methodist Healthcare for its medical needs.  Since 1976, the Foundation has served the needs of our Associates, physicians and patients as it fulfills its vital mission: 

To serve as an instrument to assist, advance and strengthen Methodist Healthcare in the ministry of healing; in its community healthcare services; in its provision of educational excellence for students in various health fields; and its related health and humanitarian endeavors.

A board of directors, appointed by the Methodist Healthcare board of directors, governs the Foundation. The President of the Foundation and staff administer the day-to-day operations, including fundraising, financial management and donor support.

Methodist Healthcare Foundation welcomes gifts of every size. These gifts are a way of making a lasting contribution-to save lives and improve the quality of life for others.
