Pediatric otolaryngologists at Le Bonheur provide medical and surgical treatment for children with disease of the ear, nose and throat. Services include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of the ear, nose and throat
- Head and neck diseases
- Surgery of the head and neck
Our otolaryngologists also work in conjunction with audiology and speech-language pathologists to help identify communication disorders in children and set a treatment course.
Audiology Services
Hearing assessments are currently performed on newborns ages 0-6 months in the neonatal intensive care unit, the infant care unit and the transitional care unit. In addition, auditory brain response testing with sedation can be performed if necessary.
