Le Bonheur’s pediatric neuro-ophthalmology program is the only one in the region and one of only a few in the country providing specialized, coordinated care to patients with complex neuro-ophthalmologic issues. The program includes an outpatient clinic, surgical services and inpatient consultations.

Advanced ophthalmologic imaging, including optical coherence tomography and fundus photography, is available for the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.

Common conditions treated include:

  • Eye movement abnormalities (strabismus, nystagmus, etc.)
  • Cranial nerve palsies affective eye and facial movement
  • Congenital cranial dysinnervation syndromes (Duane’s, Moebius, etc.)
  • Pseudotumor cerebri

We also specialize in eye-related issues in patients with neurologic conditions including:
