Places To Stay

We encourage parents or caregivers to stay with their child at all times. However, sometimes it may be necessary to have additional accommodations away from the hospital. Many hotels and motels throughout the Memphis area work with Le Bonheur families to provide lodging at special rates. Please contact these facilities directly for more information.

Additionally, many hotels, other than those listed, may provide a discount if they know that the family has a patient at Le Bonheur. So if this list is not satisfactory for you, please try other area hotels.

The process for obtaining a discount is:

  1. Proceed to make your reservation at the hotel of your choice. Please note that the rates listed above might change so confirm the rate with your hotel.
  2. Call the Social Work line at (901) 287-6129 to provide the following information: Your name, the hotel, telephone number and fax number of the hotel, and the dates of your visit. This line is forwarded to our social work staff, but if they are not available please leave your message on a voice mail.
  3. A Social Work staff member will fax a letter to your hotel, confirming that your family is being served by Le Bonheur.
  4. If you have any problems in this process, please send an e-mail to the Director of Social Work, Susan Steppe at steppes@lebonheur.org.

FedExFamilyHouse
The FedExFamilyHouse provides housing for families of patients receiving extended care at Le Bonheur. The 25,000-square-foot house includes 24 suites, four kitchens, dining facilities, indoor and outdoor recreational space, an office for families and other amenities.
