Our on-campus Outpatient Center hosts 40 subspecialty clinics that treat more than 100,000 children each year.

The Outpatient Center has five floors, one below ground level that connects to the rest of our campus by tunnel.

If you need to visit other areas of our campus while at the Outpatient Center, a tunnel that runs beneath Dunlap Street connects to the Research Center and the main hospital.

When you come to a clinic appointment, you’ll see everything at Le Bonheur is designed around the needs of children and their families.

We know waiting isn’t fun, so we’ve added toys, games and reading materials to our waiting room.

US News & World Report ranks us among the nation’s top pediatric orthopedic programs. We care for children with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including fractures, clubfoot, limb-length discrepancies, scoliosis and spinal trauma.

For orthopedic patients, Le Bonheur is one of a few hospitals with an EOS imaging system. EOS® captures head-to-toe images in a standing, weight-bearing position. A full body scan takes less than a minute and helps with surgical planning and monitoring.

At our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic, we treat more than 6,000 children each year. Our team includes four board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologists, who work with Le Bonheur’s audiologists and speech-language pathologists.

We know when you have a sick child, making another stop on the way home isn’t convenient. That’s why our Outpatient Pharmacy is located in the Outpatient Center.

In the Outpatient Center, our pediatric radiologists and technologists perform X-rays, fluoroscopy and ultrasounds. Our medical equipment is made to fit children, and our exams focus on conditions found in children and teens. These exams provide the best possible images of your child’s condition or injury.

Our urology team provides the only comprehensive pediatric urologic care in the region. Our facilities include complete urodynamics capability, which is a test to see how the bladder is working, and advanced diagnostic and imaging equipment. This allows us to get the best information about your child’s condition and customize treatment.

Le Bonheur’s Diabetes Self-Management Education program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association to exceed national standards. Certified diabetes educators (CDEs), licensed dietitians and licensed social workers help educate families on disease management at our Diabetes Center downtown. As a part of the program, our patients complete a behavior change plan and set diabetes management goals. Once goals are established, the educator monitors progress through frequent contact with the patient and family.

All of our physicians have special training in pediatrics. That’s why they take the time to explain to parents and kids what to expect. In our Surgery Clinic, our physicians meet with families before surgery is schedule and afterward to make sure your child is recovering well.

Expectant mothers sometimes have special needs during pregnancy. Specialists at our Fetal Center provide maternal fetal health services for high-risk pregnancy patients. The Fetal Center is the only center of its kind in the area that offers a complete range of services from prenatal diagnosis through fetal interventions.

As an expectant mother, you and your family will meet with our Fetal Center nurse coordinator to ensure your pregnancy and delivery experience is coordinated to meet each family’s needs. She serves as a liaison between your primary OB/GYN and your maternal fetal medicine specialist, provides schedules for visits, offers counseling and connects families to helpful resources inside and outside of Le Bonheur.
