Community members, staff and families celebrated Le Bonheur Children’s Outpatient Center ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, July 7. The new facility, located at 942 Commonwealth Boulevard, features 12,000 square feet and 19 exam rooms.
The center houses eight specialty clinics: allergy, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery and pulmonology. It also includes a variety of diagnostic services, including lab, x-ray, ECHO, EEG and pulmonary function testing. The center in double the size of the old location.
State Senator Chad McMahan and Vice President of the Community Development Foundation Judd Wilson spoke to attendees about the impact the expanded center will have on families in Tupelo.
