The UTHSC Pediatric Fellowship Office provides a centralized resource for all pediatric fellowship programs at Le Bonheur coordinating Research Week and monthly noon conferences as well as serving as the administrative point of contact for the Research Grants Program.
During the first year, fellows participate in the Fellowship Office-sponsored Research Week. Fellows hear from speakers and receive assistance in preparing a research project proposal.
Hosted monthly, the noon conferences cover a variety of topics including quality improvement and patient safety, career opportunities, health care policy and advocacy, risk management and promotion and tenure.
Research Grants Program
The Research Grants Program promotes meritorious clinical and basic investigation carried out by pediatric fellows. The Fellowship Office provides guidance and management of applications for available funding. Visit the Investigator Resources page for more details.
Pediatric Fellows Research Day
The Children's Foundation Research Institute, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and the UTHSC host an annual Pediatric Fellows Research Day for pediatric fellows to have the opportunity to present ongoing and finalized research projects. Fellows share their scientific innovations and research findings and receive feedback from UTHSC Department of Pediatrics faculty members. Learn more and view past fellows presentations.
