Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program

The ACGME-accredited sleep medicine fellowship provides an opportunity for fellows to focus on pediatric sleep pathologies. Pediatric patients are seen in a variety of outpatient facilities as well as at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and in the Le Bonheur Pediatric and Adolescent Sleep Laboratory. Le Bonheur serves a large multistate area ensuring that fellows will be involved in the care of children with both common and rare sleep pathologies.

The pediatric faculty includes individuals from the pediatric specialties of pulmonology, psychiatry, otolaryngology, neurology, critical care medicine and general pediatrics. Close relationships also exist with the Department of Family Medicine and pediatric patients in the dental sleep medicine program in the School of Dentistry. The adult sleep component of the fellowship takes place in the clinics, units and sleep lab of the Memphis Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, located one block east of Le Bonheur.
