In 1976, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center partnered with Le Bonheur Children's Hospital to create a pediatric pharmacy residency, making this one of the oldest pediatric residency programs in the country. Since that time more than 100 individuals completed their post-doctoral training in this program.
UTHSC's College of Pharmacy has a national reputation as an excellent pharmacy school and was recently ranked as one of the top 20 phamacy schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
