Participating in the great tradition of attending a summer camp doesn't have to be out of reach for your child with cerebral palsy. Below are several options of summer camps with the ability to accommodate and care for your child with cerebral palsy.

Camp SMILE Mobile

Camp SMILE is a residential camp for individuals with disabilities five to fifty years old and their siblings. They offer a unique one-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio which helps campers adjust to life outside their normal routine and helps foster genuine relationships between campers and counselors. 

Camp Able- Memphis, TN

Camp Able is a nationally known camp serving children and adults with disabilities, or "diverse-abilities." Each June, they host a traditional day camp that offers many outdoor and indoor activities for your camper in a safe and nurturing Christian environment with a camper/counselor ratio of 1:1.

Beloved and Beyond-Rosebud, TX

Beloved and Beyond exists to spread the hope and love of Jesus Christ with people who have differing  abilities through camps, socialization and on the job training while growing the community to embrace the same. The camp is for ages 7-55. 

Camp Blessing Texas- Brenham, TX

Camp Blessing makes an iconic experience–summer camp–available to campers whose challenges prevent their participation elsewhere. They are a residential Christian summer camp offering love, acceptance and fun to children and young adults with special needs and their siblings. The camp is for ages 7-25. 

Camp Conquest- Millington, TN

Camp Conquest is a special needs non-profit that serves individuals of all ages and all disabilities through summer camp and weekend camp experiences. The camp is for ages 6-60. 

Camp Courageous Kids-Scottsville, Kentucky

Camp Courageous Kids is a no cost camp for kids with a variety of medical conditions. The camp is for ages 7-16. 

Camp WeCanDU- St. Peters, MO

This camp provides an opportunity for local youth with physical disabilities to fully participate in a week-long, traditional summer camp experience loaded with fun activities and friendship. The camp is for ages 6-16. 

Lakeshore- Birmingham, AL

This is a camp and retreat center located on the shores of the Tennessee River, providing Christian hospitality, rest, and reflection for guests of all ages and backgrounds since 1948. They host a variety of day camps and two weekend family camps during the summer along with other programs year around.

Camp Dream Street- Utica, MS

Dream Street is a five day, four night camping program for children with physical disabilities. The camp is held on the grounds of URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Utica, MS and is sponsored by NFTY’s Southern Region. This camp is for ages 8-14.
