Attention Researchers and Faculty Who Participate in Research
The UTHSC IRB is implementing a new electronic platform for IRB submissions called DASH Research IRB to replace iMedRIS.
Please Note:
- Only fully approved projects in iMedRIS will be transferred into the new system.
- All submissions not approved by 5 p.m. Central Time on June 27, 2025, will NOT be transferred to DASH Research IRB.
- iMedris will become read-only on June 28, 2025, and you will not be able to make edits.
- You will need to submit non-transferred studies as new IRB submissions in DASH Research IRB.
- Both researchers and HRPP/IRB office staff will have no access to iMedRIS while studies are migrating to DASH Research IRB (from July 7, 2025 to July 11, 2025)
What you need to do:
- Check iMedRIS for pending submissions you want to keep open.
- Approve pending submissions no later than June 16, 2025.
- Submit Continuing Reviews in May if studies expire in June or July.
- Download documents you may need from iMedRIS before July 6, 2025.
